Does anyone know of a resource where we can track the predictions of these "gurus"?

He predicted food riots and the break up of the USA. But he was right that tax protesting would be in fashion in 2010.

Gerald Celente is a good man and he has been right. But I don't want to believe his dire predictions
        for USA.

I disagree with him on at least one point: when government workers go on strike to protest wage/benefit cuts, I happen to agree with the "manipulated media" - I think govt has gotten too big and needs to be cut. Beyond that it's hard for me to evaluate his claims, because he gives me a headache.

max gives me a headache... celente gives me a headache... the two of them together... a friggin migraine. gerry's food riots didn't happen... dozen others predicted tax revolts. i don't get the attraction but each to their own.

I remember some pretty bold predictions around here that have been massaged. I think these two are making some good points this time. It's a little blow hard and overreaches. But so what? It makes good internet. It's like a drunken dinner conversation... with me. I'll have you over some time.

I like Celente; he calls it as it is.

The problem is the other 329.9 million who does not care, let alone understand what is going on.

                      Re: Gerald Celente

I have been watching Celente for a couple of years. Kieser for a little less. I think they get it. Hyperbolic, yes, but they get it. There is a social-political part to all this and there is an assumption that the hammer of in-the-know cynics will always be in control. Because of the internet the world has eyes now like it never did before. There is a rectification of expectations and reality happening. Hyperbolic narratives currently make more sense and that scares linear thinkers.

The whole "when people lose everything...." line is getting a bit old. I like Max and Stacey but Gerald Celente is like a parrot. Somebody wake me if GC says anything different or tells us something that we haven't known for years.
