financial regualtion - new banker bonus program
One of the more onerous aspects of the government rescue during the financial crisis has been the continued banker bonuses while these same banks are allowed to mark their toxic assets to myths until some time near infinity when they might actually be worth something. What if the government turned this whole problem on its head and demanded that the bankers take these toxic assets as their bonuses before any good taxpayer dollars can flow their way. I suspect this might elicit a few hoots and hollers from the oligarchs.
