  • Financing - Van Jones- Tim Geithner - La Razza - Financial Reform - Whats the Connection?

What connects Financing - Van Jones - Tim Geithner - La Razza - Arizona Immigration battle and Financial Reform?

    http://azstarnet.com/business/local/...c86332db6.html

The connection is Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) that are non-profits and provide Financing (by the way they make money on the financing) for Super markets, Weatherization, affordable homes for low income lationo families (http://www.razafund.org/offerings/index.html). All of President Obama Policy items are supported by advocacy groups that have access to Capital through a CDFI non-profit Finance Company - these CDFI Non profit finance companies are actively supported and provided with a market advantage by the US Treasuries special group [url]www.cdfifund.gov].

President Obamas Immigration stance - is support by the Nation Council of La Razza - La Razza CDFI non-profit Finance company is called Raza Development. Raza development provides Financing to low Income Latino Communities. Raza Development has a Special business Unit call Prestamos, CDFI, LLC that receive $25 MILLION (www.prestamosloanfund.org) in New Tax Credits from Tim Geithner and the US Treasury Fall 2009. Technically Prestamos is a subsidiary of Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc -www.cplc.org - A CDFI non-profit Finance company based in Arizona. Perhaps Money has something to do with La Raza battling for uncontrolled immigration. Money flows from CDFI Non-profits into La Raza.

The Presidents Environmental Policy is Supported by groups like Green For All - started by Van Jones. In September 2009 Green For All announced the CREATION OF
“ENERGY EFFICIENCY OPPORTUNITY FUND” through Living Cities ( Livingcities.org) - this will be a primary Funding Source for Green For All - Living City will provide Financing for Green Projects - that Banks will provide the Cash - in return the Banks get a 40% Tax Credit over seven years and a 2-3% return per year cash flow.

President Obama - Food Initiative is supported by CDFIs like TRFund.com - the Reinvestment Fund from Philadelphia to provide financing to build SuperMarkets. The Reinvestment Fund is a Non-Profit Finance Company that gets access to SPECIAL New Market Tax Credits issued by Tim Geithner in the US Treasury.

Every Major Piece of new Policy from President Obama ensures the need for Financing through these CDFI Non-profit firms.

Here is a primer on New Market Tax Credits -http://www.community-wealth.org/_pdfs/articles-publications/cdfis/paper-seidman-4-22-07.pdf

The President can provide his friends at CDFI Non-profit Finance firms with New Market Tax Credits through Mr Tim Geithner. But, the Tax Credits are useless without Cash/Capital from Banks and Investment Houses. One way to make Banks and Investment Houses more enthusiastic about providing Money to CDFI Non-Profit firms.

Our future Tax Dollars that might have been paid by Banks and other Investment groups are being given away to support President Obama policy objectives and President Obama's re-election campaign.

The banks getting a 40% tax credit. The media tries to flip it like its such a good deal. What is really happening is the taxpayer is underwriting the risk on these projects. Instead of individuals starting their own companies and taking the risk, taxpayers are.

EXACTLY - you GOT it. The massive network of CDFI non-profit Finance firms make their money financing projects that No Smart Investor would ever touch, Banks benefit by making investments in the Inner City and that keeps the FEDS from harassing them about No providing Loans to People who can pay them back, and President Obama gets a vast Network of Advocacy Groups to support is Major Agenda items (this is how you make Money in Community Organizing - FINANCING COMPANIES).

The Best Part is the President total bypasses Congress......the US Treasury authorizes and hands out the Tax Credits -to a CDFI nonprofit that is friendly to President Obama's Policy initiatives.

Many of the folks that run CDFIs are former Community Organizers - this is the way Community Organizers are hijacking our Tax Dollars.

Well, BK, I surmise that you and chr5648 are a couple of wealthy, racist Repukelicans who don't believe in "fairness" and are unwilling to "pay your fair share" so our president can "invest in Amerika".

You two are soooooo selfish. You should both be ashamed!

Raz, I am one of those too. Except for the race part - where I am on the other side. Does anyone here think that things are going too far? I have stopped donating to any charity - since I am doing this through the government. The only thing that pains me here is that they take the money from me and act as if it is their largesse.

Ah - there is a solution to that as well. Live near the poverty line on the government dole (social security, disability, unemployment, whatever, ...) Then the net cash flow is from the government to you, not the reverse. This also frees up ones time to do as one pleases all day (such as spending way too much time on iTulip.com ;)).
