The pressure on Iran and N Korea seems appropriate.

However, by saying the US won't use nukes on non-nuclear countries, wouldn't that mean that a non-nuclear country could attack the US with biological or chemical warfare, and not have to face nuclear retaliation? Is that a good thing?

This exact question was brought up on NPR, and I don't remember the qualifications of the person who said it, but the answer was 1) it's not going to matter as our conventional military response will be a large enough deterrant for state actors and 2) if that doesn't suffice, we can always change the policy back again and likely will if needed.

In which case, is it really much of a "policy"? If you were a foreign government, would you act any differently based on announcement like this? Or is the intended audience more likely Iran and NK?

Depleted-uranium is NOT fissioned. It is NOT fussioned. No nuclear power is released. The uranium is used just for its mass and nothing more. The uranium is used to shield tanks or to use as a bullet to take advantage of its momentum (i.e, its mass times its muzzle velocity).

You Islamists are, right now, enriching uranium to build an atomic bomb which will fission uranium and release atomic energy. This is a violation of treaty law which Iran has signed.
