  • Suggestion Box

So I was thinking of a couple of things recently, and one of them was "I wish itulip, with their brand of analysis/reporting, would do certain things, as I know they would do it well." This led me to think that a thread devoted to suggestions might be a good thing.

Here is what I would love to read from itulip:

    1. A report with an interview with some official representative of the Federal Reserve System of the United States of America. Whether this would be a Fed governor, a regional Fed board member, or even some kind of PR secretary. Just something, someone where itulip could ask the questions that we have been talking about here for over a year.

    2. A special section dedicated as in "itulip recommends" for example maybe there are 5 gold bullion dealers with good reputations out there. Or online banks where you can deposit savings, buy bonds or cd's in foreign currencies. The reason I'm suggesting this, either as a forum or official thing, is that google searches do not yield satisfactory quality assurances on these types of institutions. I have perused the "friends of itulip" and am now incessantly addicted to the housing bubble blog, and also itulip was how I was introduced to kitco. Other strong connections to trusted institutions would definitely be beneficial to me, if not the rest of the itulip readers.

    3. I would just love to hear a 30 minute conversation between EJ and Catherine Austin Fitts.

    4. Finally (for now), I would love to read some kind of article (or hear a podcast) of an interview with a bullish mutual fund manager who is well-respected. I wouldn't expect a Bill Miller type, but there are hundreds of mutual funds out there, and it would be interesting, in the current environment, to see what kind of questions and answers would show up.

I'm also kind of wondering what other itulip readers would like to see, what people are thinking, etc.
