  • Whistleblower Speaks Out On J. P. Morgan's Market Manipulation - Reports Violations to the CFTC

Wow! It just gets better and BETTER!

Seriously, BLATANT manipulation of the Precious Metals Market. Details provided to the CFTC in ADVANCE, and NO ACTION TAKEN.

What else do you NEED TO KNOW about our financial system Folks?

This ain't me "SAYING it's SO".

How many more RED FLAGS do you need to, as they say, "GET YOUR BULLION-ON"?

Freaking CRAZY, no check that, INSANE! (Because you'd have to be INSANE not to understand what's going on.)

Anyway, rant off, on with the show...

Whistleblower Speaks Out On J. P. Morgan's Market Manipulation - Reports Violations to the CFTC

Do we have another Harry Markopolos here, describing in detail the manipulation of the gold market by J.P. Morgan to the CFTC? How does this square with the testimony today from the CFTC Commissioners, who seem to indicate that the markets are functioning extremely well, and that investor can have full confidence in them?

I am led to understand that Mr. McGuire had offered to testify before the CFTC today, and that he was refused admittance. I do not know him, or the position he is in within the trading community. I cannot therefore assess his credibility or the validity of any evidence which he may present or possess. But I have the feeling that nothing will come of this.

Remember, there was no action on the Madoff scandal until AFTER his fraud collapsed, and the government was forced to acknowledge Markopolos' existence. He had been ignored and dismissed by the bureaucrats at the SEC for years because of Madoff's power and standing with the trading establishment. And of course by those who had an interest in hiding Madoff's scheme, if nothing else, to promote 'confidence' in the markets.

I was trying to understand why this item struck me so hard this evening. It shocked me in a way that few things do anymore. I think it is because I had unconsciously come to the same conclusion earlier, on my own, in the post where I showed the repeated and obvious bear raids into this option expiration, and it struck a resonant chord. I refused to believe it, but apparently there it is.

This is much, much bigger than the Madoff scandal if true. This is no domestic scandal. This affects the reserves and industries and savings of other nations. Frankly, I do not expect the facts on this to ever reach the light of day in my lifetime. The implications are far too political.

I just added this. It looks like JPM was using the "Dr. Evil" trading strategy that got Citi nailed by the FSA in the eurobond markets.

And enron in the energy markets.

      http://www.independent.co.uk/news/bu...gy-496938.html

What is even more twisted about this, is that JPM is the freakin' CUSTODIAN of the SLV silver ETF. Is anyone auditing that thing?? I wonder how many claims are on those bars.

The CFTC is not looking real good on this one. But, I expect they will throw on a media blanket, and try to stonewall it until everyone watched American Idol and forgets about it.

I just swapped emails with bill Murphy, and his Bloomberg and Fox scheduled appearances and interviews were just both cancelled with no explanation.

I don't think you need anyone to make up your mind for you in that regard, do you?

Sometimes the pen is mightier than the short................

A letter of concern regarding the allegations noted above written to the CFTC Inspector General,

            A. Roy Lavik
            Office of the Inspector General
            1155 21st Street, N.W.
            Washington, D.C. 20581

and cc'ed to Gary Gensler (Chairman of CFTC), DOJ, GATA, SEC, PWC (auditors of JPM) and each member of JPM's Audit Committee - just might leverage enough movement to have an actual investigation.

Ask PWC and the Audit Committee what internal controls over financial reporting are in place at JPM to ensure commodity transactions are within market regulations and not intended to create illegal market manipulation.

I have no doubt that PWC will react when faced with any potential compariosn to the E&Y "Repo 105" scandal, and cc PCAOB too.

Or just call the Office of the Inspector General, anonymous fraud hotline number is (202) 418-5510 and email oig@cftc.gov ("OIG: report fraud, waste and abuse at CFTC" as subject line).

Camtender, thank you for the specific action plan. I will let you know what response, if any, I receive after following your leads.

                If this is true

CFTC and JPM and the US FED & Treasury officials allegedly involved in transferring the BS short to JPM have had at least a year to prepare.

Their "investigation" into the Bank Participation Report lasted how long?

Their alleged co-conspirators are HOW HIGH UP ?

It beggars the imagination that CFTC thought they could get away with stuff SEC could not get away with.

So it may not be true - this guy's lying to get publicity or he's a JPM plant to confuse the issues.

OR it is true, and if it is,

                "they" are prepared.
