    Ouch. Yes, disturbing.

I couldn't watch more than half.

      To me, it seemed silly.
LCD screens on Coke cans? Hah!
Coke will be lucky to stay in business come the global economic collapse . . . tap water will become the most popular beverage

I use an electric toothbrush that beeps every two minutes to indicate when to switch to the next part of the teeth.
I find it annoying and try to ignore it. If I could disable it, I would.
If they offered me 5 cents for every "complete" brushing, I'd still ignore it.

        Re: games

A gamer talking his game - or more specifically his tunnel vision view of the world.

If half of what this person says is true, then S & H Green Stamp points would already rule the world: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S&H_Green_Stamps

But it doesn't. And games won't.

For that matter, where is Atari now? Pac-Man?

One should always distinguish between a fad and a real societal phenomenon.
