A RUMOR: The Amero plan is back, this time backed by gold: BIS source

The US dollar is about to be replaced by the Amero at a rate of two dollars to one Amero, according to a high level financial source in Switzerland. The Amero will replace the US and Canadian dollars and the Mexican peso, he says. It will be backed by Mexican and Canadian gold, the source adds. The decision was made at a high level within the Western secret government, he says. The introduction of the Amero will be followed by a dismantling of the Federal Reserve Board, he says. Once the announcement is made, people will have exactly 30 days to convert their dollars to Ameros before the dollars become worthless. The Western government does not want to cede control of its financial system to China so a decision was made to go with the gold-backed Amero, he says. Of course many holders of dollars may decide to opt away from the Amero and trade their dollars for other currencies, notably the Chinese yuan and the Hong Kong dollar. We will seek to confirm this news from other sources and will provide updates if necessary.

It may be wrong but it is not crazy. Jeez, compared to what has been happening the last 18 months anything else looks sane. That is the problem.

I does remind me of the old Cold War question "would a US President sacrifice New York to save Berlin?". Will a US President sacrifice California to save Taiwan or Greece or Great Britain? I don't think so.

Benjamin Fulford (born 1961) is a journalist, author and of Canadian descent living in Japan. He speaks 4 languages including Japanese.

• The Pentagon, the oil industry, banking elite, and the pharmaceutical industry suppress inventions including free-energy and anti-gravity technology to maintain power.
• Since 2009, Fulford has stated that the US government, using a secret military program known as HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) has been altering the climate, and using high power microwave energy inducing earthquakes including the Asian Tsunami (2004) and earthquakes in Japan (1995), China (2008), Haiti (2010), Chile (2010).

Canada has a minority government. They aren't exactly the brightest bulb in the string, but they aren't that stupid.

Any move of this sort means the government falls. Not now, but RIGHT NOW.

Canadians, by a huge margin, have no interest in a currency union with the USA and Mexico.

Now maybe the USA can sweeten the deal. A "BUY AMERO" program would be a good start. But probably still not enough.

This is what is really going on regarding continental integration Mega...;)
