Re: Growth is not possible
Since So-Damn-Insane has been removed from the scene in Iraq, the nation is little changed or maybe slightly quieter. But Lebonon is quiet now. Syria is quiet now. Jordon is friends with Isreal. The West Bank is quieter. Gaza is quieter. Egypt is friends with Isreal. Turkey is fine. Kuwait is fine. Qatar is fine. Saudi-Arabia is fine.
Problem areas that remain: Somali pirates, Yemen's Islamo-fascists, Afganistan's Taliban, Pakistan's Taliban, and a very festering and malignant Iran, worse now than ever.
I give credit where credit is due to the Bushes: getting rid of So-Damn-Insane was a good move. The Middle East is better for having done so.;)
