I wonder if the "Plan" is that the average American gets off his or her ass & we get 1776/2 ?

America defaults & walks away from her debt?

Americans' asses have grown appreciably over the last two centuries, so there is a 21st century inertia factor. Go to the average American gunshow and you will see some of the biggest asses the nation can lay claim to. I know some folks who have 20 weapons or more. To me, it bespeaks fear and paranoia more than it does insurrection. Go to your average convenienice store in America today. Most folks that sidle in couldn't straddle a wall much less foment civil unrest. Who would supply their hypertension and diabetes drugs during the revolution? Is that in the Obama plan?

Commentators have spoken of an odd passivity in the US populace that belies (or maybe helps explain) the huge rusting militia. When the Greek kids get mad, they throw bricks. When they raise the Korean and French kids' tuitions, the kids tip over cars. Youthful outrage is the fuel for many a revolution. Do they prescribe Ritalin in Seoul?

Our kids worry about their student loans like good little usurees. Heck if you don't hate the establishment where you're 19, where's the passion gonna come from where you're 39?

I would suggest America houses the most ill-equipped poor people in the history of the world. Food isnt grown or prepared. It comes in microwaveable plastic pouches beneath big neon signs.

As fun as it is for you guys to bash Americans, this is NOT a uniquely American trait...it is a human trait. It just happens to be our time in history to change or continue to decline. History is in favor of a very long, very gradual decline, but only time will tell.
