Gentiman
Please lets no go down this path, the one thing i aways liked about "Itulip" is the fact we don't do "Cramer" here. No subject or idea is taboo or a bad....we read & discuss:-
Ej
Marc Farber
"Crusty"
& how the news arounds us either proves or disproves a line of thought.
BTW EJ, SLK 350 please.
Cheers

The Gulf emirate of Abu Dhabi has teamed up with one of Canada's largest pension funds to mount a joint £5bn bid for the electricity network that distributes power to millions of homes in the south-east of England.
Sources have revealed that the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is working with the Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) to submit a joint offer for EDF's electricity distribution network.
ADIA, which is owned by the emirate, is one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds although it has never published the value of its assets. Estimates range between $350bn (£219bn) and $650bn under management.
Bankers from Goldman Sachs and boutique advisory firm Lexicon Partners have been appointed to advise the consortium on its bid.
It is, however, not clear whether Goldman Sachs will use it own infrastructure fund as part of the deal. People close to the situation claimed it is not planning to act as a principle investor.
Earlier this year, EDF, the French state-controlled nuclear operator, started the sale of its regulated electricity network in the UK, which distributes power to 7.9m homes in the south-east and east of England.
At the time, the group - which is facing record debt and mounting investment costs in France and around the world - said it hoped to attract offers in excess of the €4bn (£3.6bn) value attributed to the networks in its accounts. EDF, though, will still retain its power generation and supply activities in Britain.
Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas have been appointed to run the auction.
There are several other bidders circling the EDF's electricity network. Scottish and Southern Energy, for example, has already teamed up with Borealis, another Canadian pension fund...
