It looks like your post got a bit mangled, Rajiv. Poking around, it seems to come from http://neithercorp.us/npress/?p=201. Skimming that webpage, I find it to be a detailed but easy reading argument for an audit of the Fed. It felt a bit naive to me, but perhaps that's just because I've been reading too many doomer sites these days .

Used iframe -- it works on my browser. However, the website itself is not the best designed website -- makes my laptop CPUs become really hot!

The "Recent Publications" that should be on the right side are overlaying Mr. Bernanke, probably because that website didn't expect to be forced to display in that narrow a frame. This should have been a minor detail, but instead it confused ThisPatheticCow into not seeing the scroll bar for the iframe on the right, so said cow then didn't see the text below the image, for want of scrolling down to see it.

        Nevermind ...

LOL. They'll NEVER do a real audit on the Fed...if they do anything it'll be modelled after the "stress tests" done on the banks...

Bernanke’s Confirmation Support Runs 3-1 in Favor in Senate

Dec. 23 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. senators are backing Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke for a second term by a 3-to-1 margin, based on a count of 77 lawmakers by Bloomberg News...

...Once a majority materializes for Bernanke, senators, especially those who are up for re-election next year, may decide to oppose the Fed chief, said Tom Gallagher, head of policy research at International Strategy and Investment Group Inc. in Washington.

“It’s fair to say that the safe vote on Bernanke is to vote ‘no’ on the losing side,” said Gallagher, a former congressional aide...
