I'm sure you'll get a lot of good suggestions here... for my wife the golite has really worked wonders...run a search. Also fish oil caplets, two huge ones each morning. Lastly, a tens unit...send me a pm if you want more info.

As a closing note, try staying off line and off the TV for a while, there is a lot of BAD going on, no need to keep hearing it.

Maybe volunteer somewhere.

Having a bad time, my personal depression hit today............i spent the afternoon trying to decide why i exsit...i hate who i am, where i am

Uh oh... I think that means the rest of us need to post more. That's a lot of slack to take up Mega!

I had bad bouts of depression in my 20s. Hospitalisation. The whole shebang. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

FWIW 5 years of stubborn "bootstrapping" got me nowhere and ~ 4 months of acceptance, drugs and talk put me back together. Very grateful for that help I was.

Mike - the responses in this thread I hope give you a glimpse of what your contributions mean to so many people. Don't think this isn't real; finding like minds in this world is tough, and you're a signature part of a group that has the highest concentration of smarts I've ever run across. Search for and get the best help there is - get well.
