I am about the same age, and I cannot imagine being framed by prosecutors for murder and spending 25 year of my life in prison.
All I want to do is stay as far away from people like the prosecutors as possible.
Why the families of the prosecutors do not shun them, I don't know.
By the way, you should see about The West Memphis Three.

Re: You have no Constitutional right not to be framed
Here in the Bay Area there are two explosive cases being processed. One is the BART cop shooting of a passenger, the other the gang rape of a teenager at her high school dance. Both cases are highly volatile, with angry community responses. (The suspects in the rape hearings wore bulletproof vests in court)
The former case, a murder charge against the BART policeman, has been granted a change of venue. High on the list is San Diego. Nothing about a change of venue in the latter. Apparently the community will be allowed a voice in those proceedings.

Isn't the World bad enough the way it is? Do you have to make it WORSE?
Oddly, I have never gotten a reply...
And all this information is leaking out of the Earth, so the entire Universe knows about it.

Re: You have no Constitutional right not to be framed
We have our own version of this case in Fort Collins. Tim Masters was put in jail under similar circumstances. So far the courts are allowing his lawsuit to proceed and law abiding citizens are cheering him on (even though in this case there is no concrete proof he wasn't involved in the crime).
When our "prosecutors" come up for retention votes (they are judges now) I'm guessing there's going to be a monstrous grass roots effort to get them voted out of office. In fact I'm sure there are going to be signs to that effect in my front yard. I never got to vote against these crooks, I moved into the community after they won office, but my chance is coming up.
If my fellow citizens vote to retain our corrupt and pathetic judges, I'll know for certain I'm living the Robert Plant song "Crazy in a ship of fools".
I wonder what the voters in Council Bluffs are thinking right now that their behavior is being exposed.

And if you think that is scary, how about being framed by a computer virus/hackers and clueless prosecutors?

"True" criminals are the ones with the camera. Like the article points out you just can't prove the motives of the ones who "posses" the stuff.

Those "rich white guys" on the Duke lacrosse team were prejudged by dozens of their fair-minded professors (I'm sure those fine academics were all hardcore right-wingers) in the famous "Social Disaster" statement they issued as well as "writers" like Duff Wilson of the New York Slimes "newspaper". None of them have ever issued an apology.
The "victim" was a poor, uneducated black girl, and they were "privileged white guys", so they must have been guilty!
The prosecutor, Mike Nifong, served 1 day in jail for what he did, and that great black leader and paragon of public virtue, the "Reverrrund" Jesse Jackson, has never apologized for openly presuming their guilt.
Being Liberal, especially Liberal and Black means never having to say you're sorry. As proof I give you another great American and Black "Leader", the "Reverrrund" Al Sharpton. (Remember Tawana Brawley? It was all bulls#*t, too.)

Re: You have no Constitutional right not to be framed
I'm guessing you don't remember the
"recovered memory syndrome"
cases and the hundreds of families destroyed by those "therapists".
And those set of prosecutors that think no woman has ever in the past or ever will in the future falsely accuse a man of rape, and a man ending up in jail on such false accusations is literally impossible, therefore the accusation by itself is absolute proof of guilt.
Closer to this case about frame-ups Robert L Anderson has been occasionally writing about prosecutor misconduct for years.
Did you really think the Duke Lacrosse team were a special case? (they were - only because they fought back)
And of course check out James Duane's list (3 or 4 framed people out of hundreds that Barry Scheck's Innocence Project has freed).

But since you brought it up it was a terrible miscarriage of justice and shameful.
