    You are correct, sir!

iTulip traffic always goes up when TSHTF:

iTulip's covered financial market blowups for more than 10 years. Where else are you going to go.

As you say, all is quiet on the western front.

In fact, we use slow traffic as a sign of rising market complacency and risk that figures into our "time to short" calls.

yeh, but if the correlation is trade-able it soon becomes non-trade-able if it widely known.

i'd prefer to see fred keep it 'under his hat'.

NBC has always been part of America, and it always will be the best part of America to me.

And yes, I do NOT always agree with Rachel Maddow or all of the commentary on NBC, but all of the commentary is interesting. Even Larry Kudlow on CNBC has interesting and provacative remarks, although he is a supply-side Republican and I don't always agree with him.

Over all, the best TV in America is still on NBC.;)
Steve I think it's time to sell that GE stock.

Great quote but it also misses another key aspect that I have noticed about conspiracy nuts. Before they go through the reasoning the article lays out, these people WANT to believe conspiracy theories. It fits a VOID and fills it in their mental perception of the world.

Conspiracy thinking engenders a negative psychology of paranoia and symbolic thinking instead of directing the user toward a realism
They already are paranoid and think symbolically, the conspiracy junk just reinforces their perceptions.

Are you serious! To conspire is human nature. Only an idiot would believe that conspiracies don't exist. Read the definition of conspiracy and read your history.

I think we are referring to 2 different types of conspiracies, I am referring to the crazies, the ones that believe in illuminatis, aliens, moon hoaxes and others along that line.

The article you pointed out refers to conspiracies defined like this

"A civil conspiracy or collusion is an agreement between two or more parties to deprive a third party of legal rights or deceive a third party to obtain an illegal objective" with examples of racketeering, frauds, price fixing, and the such.

Yes, evaluate the evidence and weigh the facts. Always good advice. ;)
