    I can't find that now, or my response, to add this post to that thread.

    So I'll start a new thread with recent news

    I did not have the expertise to read the prospectus like this.

    The question I replied to was something about the order in which things happen - are the shares issued, then the commodity is purchased, or are the commodities purchased then the shares issued.

    I don't have the expertise to understand all what James Turk points out, but I come away with the notion that GLD and SLV are useful for pure speculations as Turk suggested.

    This article in worth reading if one invests or plans to invest in GLD and SLV.
