House prices nominal, 1819-2009:
The gold prices are from measuringworth.org/gold (which has multiple reputable sources) and from LBMA. The exchange rates are from the Norwegian central bank (1819-2009). From these I got the gold price in NOK per ounce. The house price index is also from the Norwegian Central Bank 1819-2009. It is one of three house price indices used by Robert Schiller (Herengracht, Norway and the US one)
(e.g. here)
This historical index is on an arbitrary level, but they use the real estate brokers index from 1985-2009, which made it possible compute back to 1819. The CPI is from Statistics Norway.
