This is not a war on drugs. It's a war on personal freedom....and that is a war that we can't afford to lose.

I am all for personal freedom, especially as a socialist. But liberals, libertarians, socialists, Democrats in the U.S, social-democrats in Europe, New Democrats in Canada, progressives, Labour Party members in the U.K, DFL members in Minnesota, all must agree with me on one key point--- one key uniting issue--- personal freedoms come with personal responsibilites to others. All of us are united to raise the economic standard-of-living of mankind.

So, I ask: What does pot do, pot-intoxication do, self-indulgence, pot parties, rock concerts, not to mention, general law-breaking do to raise the economic standard-of-living of mankind?

Or is pot what we are all about? Is pot what unites us? .... If that is the case, I am in the wrong movement, entirely. :rolleyes:

Let the medical community or medical doctor, upon consultation with the parent, decide the best course of action for this child.... And the DEA does not belong in this decision-making process, nor does the pot-smoking community.

What does it matter whether I read the article or not? I am not a doctor. I am just poor old Starving Steve.
