Fear not. Another bubble is on the way.

Only this time Geithner promises they will do a better job cleaning it up after it bursts...
Collective Action Is Key for Future Crises, Geithner Tells Sole

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told Il Sole 24 Ore that the recently created Financial Stability Board will be a “single point of reference” to help prevent future economic crises.

It’s urgent to “convince everyone that it’s in their interest to seek collective action,” Geithner told the daily in an interview. “This will help us to better deal with the next bubble.”

Translation of Geithner: the bubble is already forming (equities) and we'll make sure we manage it up well and not let it crash ... we will have no more crashes ... we have shown that the US can print money at will and with relative impunity (something we didn't know before... how easy and extensive we can do it to restart bubbles ...) and the ROW has also learned that they can print as much money as they want too ... it is a new era... we never knew how easy the public would let us get away with all this...yeeha! the public needs free money, they want free money, they need us on that printing press....

and it's almost been long enough for the masses to forget that this was their original promise that they didn't uphold...

              Promise?

              Whatchu talking bout, Willis?

We left the Gold Standard in 1971. The only promise you get now is that we are going to continue to print and devalue.

Well, I think we have our catalyst for the next crash maybe. Australia seems to be the first to put their money where their misplaced faith in the economy is. Perhaps they will be the first to realize that they cannot restart the debt engine in the same way that everyone has for 20 years. Private debt is dead and it's gonna take a big crash for central banks to realize it.
