good thing we have glowball cooling now, or we could be seeing
car-b-que's in Watts and some other inner city 'hoods as a result.
Though I expect a hot summer with high youth unemployment and
no 'freebies' next year could still give us some interesting pyrotechnics.

In some ways, this is excellent news. This is the demographic from which one can draw to establish a paramilitary force. If they don't have jobs, it's not like they have anything better to do. Besides, the all believe in "change"!

Is there any better commentary about young unemployment, specifically in the RCG (recent college grad) age of the twenties?

I'm curious as I'm in that group, luckily in the other 48% . I could provide my own anecdotal advice, but it's nowhere near concrete. Along with it, many people in my age (at least my friends) decide to consciously leave their job for B-School/Masters/etc.

Yep, after getting 100K in debt for a useless undergrad degree, why not get another 100K in debt on a useless MBA.

Why not just borrow 200K and start a business? but that would mean having to work and we already have illegal Mexicans for unskilled labor and H1B Indians and Chinese for skilled labor.

We really no longer have a need for labor in America.
