Besides the other tests seem to now be largely met:- Convergence with the Euro zone economies: Everyone is going down the tube together now so that's no problem.
- Business and workforce flexibility: Most of the workforce I run into in London is from Eastern Europe so why would they care...tell the Scots to stay north of Hadrian's Wall and everything should be fine, non?
- Help reduce the risk of poor investment performance: How can joining the Euro make things any worse than they are now, eh?
- Introduction of the Euro should be advantageous to the financial services sector: What financial services sector? Oh, you mean that part of the economy that Lehman, Barclay's and RBOS used to be involved in...
- Joining the Euro should enhance growth and employment prospects: This one's going to be a stumbling block...time to call in Mandelson...

"You can go and work in Europe, Mandelson tells strikers"
How about parity with the SEK?
Now that would be something . . .
Watch that channel tunnel, mega, you know it's too late to escape

Gentiman
I can't begin to express my delight at what is unfolding, the bulsh*tters are bankupt. For the last few years i had to sit & watch almost total madness cut lose.
Assh*les whom should NEVER have been lent $10 were given MEGA lines of credit, the streets filled with lease hire BMW/Merc/Audi etc...we had vast numbers of sales reps & drug dealers flying about in £30,000 cars.....Which they never had to buy & only pay a fraction on.
Thankfully that crap is over, BMW/Merc got badly burnt on that one & their normal customer base on mass jumped ship to Lexus. BMW/Merc are despritly trying to recoup their losses, but like Porsche in the end of 80's.....it going to be a hard job.
So, the average bloke getting "Given" a performance car days are over, why in Gods name would you give a sales Rep a £30,000 BMW when a £12,000 Chevey Cruze will do the job? The rep is NOT going to find work else where, so why bribe him?
It gets better, because of "Global warming" (Peek oil) new rules & taxes are cutting in very shortly. A BMW which cost £200 a year road tax will be £500 by 2011.........all the manufactors MUST cut their average CO2 out put to 130 kgs........the fore mentioned Chevey will soon have a 3 cyinder 1,000 cc 115 bhp turbo engine & low rolling resitance tyres (high silcon content/ death trap under wet weather).
Mega on the other hand wil face NON of the formentioned problems. My next car will be from VAG (Volkwagon) one of their brands, Seat/Skoda/VW.......twin charge 1400 cc 7 speed Durl cultch, 180 bhp, small, light grippy........

American & British women have VERY "Stange" ideas about themselves & what they should get. The young lady in the clip would be happy if the man in her life was nice & hard working & kind..........
When ever i go on the dating BBs the British women have a list:-
"You must be tall dark & hamson, be able to beat the crap out of a platoon of Us Marines, but be careing & sensative to my needs".
Blokes whom can leather a platoon of US Marines are NOT caring & sensative darling!
The list go's on, but its like they trying to order a pizza, not find a man. Oh yes they are not great lookers themselves & they got kids!

As the Allied Forces beat back the Soviet occupation in Europe and prevented the Empire of the Rising Sun from taking over the world. The post-war occupations by the Allies has begun. But what the Allies do not know is that the president of the European Union, Rupert Thornley [Malcolm McDowell] (who is in charge of the post-war occupation) is also secretly massing an army of his own with the help of a technology company known as "FurureTech". The Allies also have to be aware of a rumored "Uprising" by both the Soviet Union and the Empire of the Rising Sun.
