Is the F.I.R.E. economy in crisis?

Interesting blog post here - the real economy is doing just fine and perhaps it is only the F.I.R.E economy that is in crisis - is this a real economic crisis or it is just the pyramid people trying to keep the financial pyramid status quo?

Depression? I think if we stay on the "Japan" bail them out path we have a much, much greater chance of a new great depression then if we let capitalism take its course and allow a few 1000 wall street banks go under.
