read the history of political parties in America and how the "democratic republican" party was a single party before it split into "factions"

then put on your thinking caps and realize that it is once again simply "factions" of the same party but does not seem to have the same values as the original democratic republicans but more like a mafia.

Not sure this is news, but it is interesting to see the evolution of political ideology in the country.

The Democratic-Republican Party's namesakes live on, and each share significant portions of the same ideology with each other, yet it is the complete opposite of the original party's classical liberalism.
