yep... keep the people fighting over non-issues like more taxes vs less taxes... more gov't vs less... don't want them arguing about the rent seekers & oligarchs. frame the debate as left vs right. better yet, get them arguing about abortion and gays.

Reminds me of when my bike was stolen off my back porch. The guy broke a window to get into my neighbor's basement, stole some bolt cutters, then came over to my porch, cut my lock and rode off on my bike. Looking back on it, that was a pretty industrious criminal.

I don't think there's an analogy there, but I felt like sharing.

Right on! Not sure if you have heard the "Dress Rehearsal for Debt Peonage" interview by Dr Hudson (posted in another thread, my linking skills are sadly limited), but this echoes that sentiment. I fear that Dr Hudson is right and this is the endgame when the parasite has sensed that the host is about to die and is spawning millions of eggs to make sure that it devours every ounce of flesh on the host's body.
I am depressed as I feel that we have reached the point of no return. When EJ said "no alt-e bubble", the game was over.

I suspect from the long cryptic URL that blogspot has arranged to make that graphic not show when linked from other webpages.
