  • Best Performance Vs. Gold Since ~July 8,2009 Lows

This isn't news, but because NEWS thread attracts the most viewers, I'll put it here.

Below are a list of ETF's, which for the most part represent some of the "FIRE economy." Which of the listed ETF's do you believe has/have outperformed GLD (that is the gold ETF if you are a laggard) since the lows in and about July 8th.

Don't cheat and go looking at charts.

Just make your guess or guesses (as many as you deem necessary) and post them, and when I see 10 or 15 replys, I'll post the actual performance. There is no significance to the bold green symbols in the list.

i'll bite, jim. since i think this rally is total bs, the winners should be the bs etf's- homebuilders, financials [including banks, insurers, and so on]. i.e. F.I.R.E.!

I've made 3 gold purchases this year and I'm 'down' on all of them (though not by much). However the market has gone up quite significantly. Therefore I won't be surprised if all the ETFs listed above are up.

That would be my guess too. Trick question from Jim  - all of the securities he listed outperformed GLD over that time frame [?]

You guys are all too smart.

These are NOT likely anywhere near whatever are the top performers among all ETF's since July lows, but just the best performance of some which I follow.
