        I've no idea the meaning of that odd man, but reviewing the Old Holborn site you linked to was a happy time. For you see, I was a Fred Thompson fan in the last U.S. Presidential election, but then became discouraged when I realized his face was just too shopworn to have a chance.

        But now that I see several pictures of Great Britain's finest Prime Minister Gordon Brown, I realize that there is still hope for Mr. Thompson.

            Hey, I was a Thompson supporter too! And I came to the same conclusion you did. Not pretty enough. He also seemed tired and like his heart was not in it. I still can't believe Republicans would have preferred McCain over him though.:eek:
