Have we been saved?
So, have they saved us from the big bad recession because it morphed into a depression before they even got into office?
Here is my "on the ground" take on this sentiment for the week.
My wife and I are on a vacation in Traverse City, MI. Normally, you have to make hotel reservations for this time of year a number of months in advance. We are at a resort on Grand Traverse Bay and the hotel seems to be one-third empty. Granted, we are here during the work week, but it is still very telling.
I hope they move to save America soon. I can't imagine much more can be done for Corporate America. How may trillions can you flush down the loo.
