And my clients won't nickel and dime me out of business. And I can't stop worrying about the drop in the dollar and love the rise in my paper assets. It's deja vu all over again.

Whew, Just In Time. At our local supermarket this morning (11 AM) the deli case was empty and dark, the fish were outnumbered by the crushed ice open spaces and the few staff were attempting to cover all fronts. They'll be relieved. Their hours were getting down near health coverage minimums. I'll tell them first thing next trip to the store.

Maybe it was the Goldman software thief trying-out his new code on the commodity markets.

Gold have been waving up and down inside a range, but there is signs that it could break out of this range, as the lows are getting higher. The inflation bomb have in my opinion already been dropped, but it won't show before the economy gains traction. Imagine a car spinning on the ice, trying to go forward. The speed at the wheels increase and increase, until the layer of ice suddenly is destroyed, and the car moves straight forward.

here are the fertilizer stocks and gold.

There have been a ton of takeover offers in the fertilizer business lately. Last year Soros timed his buy in australia perfectly, anyway. Now it's Mosaic that's getting bought out.

Here, against gold. This is the same trend.

Fertilizer stocks is not a warren buffet style of value investment I think. but it's certainly the trend playing investment of someone like Rogers or Soros.
