    Morgan Stanley have done their best to put a positive spin on it. If you where searching for any hope that green shoots are sprouting I would hazard a guess its not in this. Picture a thousand lemmings falling into the abyss.
    No recovery in sight, no "dead cat bounce" and the banks look like they are in for a sustained period of real pain. (Page 5 and 6)
    Yes its true that the credit markets have stabilized but the banks capacity to provide capital appears to be decreasing (page 1) followed lower down by "stocks responding positively to issuances at historically low prices" with the head kicker below it "What is dilution" - Ask a RIO investor over the next few years as earnings per share tank with a 21/40 dilution.
    also see side column notes on page 6 - "The worst is yet to come" - paints a rosy picture of green fields, daisy chains and other mythical creatures from fairytales told in the great halls of power and mass media. Green shoots my ass
    This is going to be a long long road back over many years
