After failing to gain big discounts or equity in the Australian miner Rio Tinto the Chinese govt has jailed some of its executives on charges of spying. In doing so the Chinese place themselves under suspicion of attempting to terrorise the business community.
Unfair trials, forced confessions and execution are routine in China. The Chinese government does not respect human life or the truth and thus stands in very great contrast to the Australian government. Here is the news article in the WSJ:
