Seriously though, when exactly did parents, teachers quit teaching kids about fiscal responsibility? What I thought was common sense was good advice I apparently took for granted years ago. In the past few years, I have learned that many friends that I found perfectly level headed truly were never taught to leave themselves a cushion.
