Most people still do not understand that the current crisis is not about saving capitalism; it’s about saving the welfare state-crony capitalist-fascist political economy in the US that can no longer pay its bills.

Noticed Schiff getting LOTS of Air time (Which he loves) Glen Beck & other high rated shows, i suspect "They" are split, some are fighting for the NWO & others can see what will happen if they try.

      Larry, Tim, Paul & Henry

Sounds a bit like characters from a fairy tale, although I'm not sure which one.

I know this will make you laugh, but i wonder IF the people behind this scam are VAMPIRES..........I mean normal people screw the system a bit here & there.........but if you consider the time line (back to 1909)......it makes you wonder?

Those in itulip, and others that have their eyes open, realize that the left-right scale is just a rouse so that people do not plot out a new axis. One that has personal liberty and the philosophy of self-ownership on one side, and all of those with the left-right tshirts on the other. Until the masses don't start thinking about politics in the latter axis, there is no hope that this country will return to what it was intended during its founding.

As discussed ad nauseam here, this is about saving parasitism. Capitalism died about 100 years ago.

Remember when the putz from Princeton came to Congress and said the Congress has to pass the TARP costing trillions? This was when the crash of '08 was just getting going last fall. Nancy Pelosi catered to Bernanke and rounded up the votes.

And remember when AIG was being bailed-out but the putz from Princeton wrote the board of directors who caused AIG's collapse a cheque on public funds for $150 million?

And remember Citi Bank after being bailed-out increased its pay to its employees by 50% last month, again on funds provided by the putz from Princeton.

When you pledge allegiance to the U.S. of America now, you are really pledging allegiance to this massive theft under Bernanke, along with the eco-nuts under Obama, and with the religious-right from the South.

Meanwhile, the yes-men around Bernanke pretend not to know of this theft, and they speak of promising "green shoots" of economic recovery that so far have not taken root.
The yes-men speak of a "good job" done by Bernanke, and Obama pretends not to know the truth about what really is going on.

Steve: I appreciate that you have a hate-on for Bennie, but let's keep the facts straight around here. Although he shilled for passing it, Bernanke and the Fed do not have any authority over TARP...it is a program of the United States Department of the Treasury [which is why it needed Congressional authorization - Ben can just print the money he needs], and the legacy credits really belong to Hank Paulson.

WildspitzE, you are exactly right. The politicians, Democrat, Republican, left, right, it doesn't matter. They are controlled by the same people. They know that if they can keep the masses arguing amongst themselves over supposedly liberal vs conservative values, the masses won't have the time or inclination to look into who is really screwing them and the country.

Capital must protect itself in every possible manner by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages must be foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through a process of law, the common people lose their homes they will become more docile and more easily governed through the influence of the strong arm of government, applied by a central power of wealth under control of leading financiers. This truth is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of Capital to govern the world. By dividing voters through the political party system, we get them to expend energies fighting over questions of no importance. Thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves what has been so well planned and successfully accomplished. ~Aug. 25, 1924 USA Banker's Magazine

Metal, what do you think motivates Timothy, Ben, Larry and Hank? Do you think that they are evil ( in the sense that they know that what they are doing is hurting many while benefitting a few) ? Is it that they no longer have the ability to perceive their actions from an objective viewpoint? Is it that what they have to deal with is very complex and they are doing the best they can? What would you do if you were named chairman of the fed?

Here's what I could quickly find. The original publication appears to have come from "The Bankers Manifesto of 1892". The title alone makes it suspect.

Sometime between 1907 and 1917 it was read into the Congressional record by one Charles August Lindbergh, a five term Congressman from Minnesota's 6th District. Mr. Lindbergh is not related to the more famous Charles Augustus Lindbergh. I'm sure there's a conspiracy theorist on iTulip who will observe that Lucky Lindy added only the "US" to his name...HA!

Representative Lindbergh opposed entry into WWI and the Federal Reserve Act so we have some idea of his politics. How this quote reached the "USA Bankers Magazine" is anyone's guess. They may have printed the quote to have some fun with the idea and show how ridiculous it was.

However, I'm going to double check under the bed tonight..;)

If not them, someone else. Their actions happen not because they (by error or evil) chose those actions. Rather their actions happen and positions are taken because our trans-human structures need such people and select the best that can be found who by instinct, temperment, training, ambition and vision will take such actions and advocate such positions.

Similarly one does not discover why an NFL football team scores touchdowns by asking "what do you think motivates that quarterback?" If that quarterback isn't motivated to perform as an NFL quarterback must perform to lead his team to victory, he will find himself benched in favor of someone else.

We are now being reminded that we humans don't yet know how to build healthy economic and political structures of the scale we currently require. When the top level managers of a football team don't properly understand what it takes to build and sustain a winning team, the head coach and quarterback positions risk becoming revolving doors.
Most folks are good; a few aren't.
