X2. What we've had in the past is so called "educated people" leading us down the road to ruin, with a huge sense of entitlement to boot. I call them "Faux intellectuals". Some people confuse manners, speech, clothing, etc with intelligence. America is full of that now. Brainless idiots who think the watch they wear or the car they drive raises their IQ or worth. Like when the $30,000 year secretary in an expensive outfit turns up her nose at the guy who makes $90,000 year fixing her computer. I know some very intelligent guys like the one in that video that may sound dumb but are actually very bright. America is becoming a nation of white collar weenies who are so out of touch with reality its funny. They'd better wake up.

This isn't stupidity, it is wanton self interest without conscience. They create systems and policies to enrich themselves and really have no concern for you. You are witnessing an epidemic of narcissism.

Well, I spent the last hour looking around it seems you're more right than I was. He seems to be from around Charlotte, North Carolina. He has two cute young kids, maybe four or six years old, and a fine looking wife. In one earlier video, his wife snuck up behind him and flipped birds with both hands at the video cam, smiling impishly, in clear agreement with her husbands outrage.

Given that a focus of some of his earlier videos was the loss of manufacturing jobs, I'd suspect he's one of the ones whose job was outsourced to China.

          Dude (or Dudette):

I find your attitude interesting. I'm probably one of the more "educated" folks around here, with various degrees in various technical fields like physics, computer science, bioinformatics etc. I work as a professor at a major university, and own a small business. I'm no "redneck" or J6P.

And yet I watched this and was thinking to myself "way to go." (plus laughing) The common man gets it. Good for him.

What is it going to take for the direction to change in this country? Do you think everyone sitting around having pleasant chats over tea is going to do it?

We've got serious, grave problems. The lower/middle class is being eviscerated. No jobs, no prospect, no future. Even the "upper-middle" class are running scared, working harder than ever for a less certain future.

This just can't go on forever. The system is dysfunctional, and with all the money going to Wall st, it is becoming more and more dysfunctional.

I don't want riots. I don't want violence. But I also don't want my kids to starve, or face a future country run by a few wealthy oligarchs (that's called facism). That is the way we are headed. How can we stop it? I don't know. But I do know that this guy bashing apart a car and putting a video up on Youtube is just scratching the surface of the brewing anger out there. People have had enough. And until the power brokers wake up and realize that they can't keep squeezing us forever, you'll probably see more and more of this kind of stuff.

I try to avoid people like this. And unfortunately, their numbers will be exponentially growing in the very near future.

Guys like this are an accident waiting to happen.

There's a well presented list of many of his (walstreetpro2) videos at http://flashgamesite.com/live2/autho...treetpro2.html.

              Well said, mcgurme.

Is there anyway we can bring a polar bear to the revolt? I hear they put up a mean fight.

                Polar bears rock:

but seriously, if the GOP really wanted to rock the country, all they would have to do is put this guy on tv as the "loyal opposition" after President Obama's next nationwide address.

image seeing something like this, instead of another slimy politician -

                the country would go nuts

Well, I disagree with the partisan nature of this response. I lean democratic (ooh, a Liberal in our midst, run away!). But I have come to the conclusion that NEITHER party gives a sh*t about "the rest of us". The only difference between the repugs and the demorats is that the demorats pretend to care, and the repugs don't even bother.

The Repugs care when it comes to protecting the people from "terrah"! We're just not supposed to notice our civil liberties withering away. Instead, we're supposed to be on our knees thanking God that we've got such fine wonderful people looking out for us and keeping us safe. ;)

I don't want riots and I don't want violence. But that's just too bad because we are going to inevitably get both sooner rather than later. Educated to me is knowing the current situation and planning and evolving around it the best one can and hope to be right. This guy's a moron. He pretentiously spouts off irrelevant dates and statistics to try and make him sound educated. So he reads a few housing bubble blogs and now he's the smartest guy in his limited crowd drinking his $5.00 pitchers at the local pub trying to get attention any which way he can.

It's the end of a 25+ year Ponzi sceme. Most everyone acknowledges that. But knowing that and destroying a car with a baseball bat and an axe on public TV does not classify one as educated.

This moron is probably one of those auto workers that still thinks he's worth $40/hour when they are now only paying $14/hour. He's not the problem but he certainly is not the solution whatever that solution may be.

But being "educated" doesn't necessarily mean one has a basic better understanding of what's going on.

If not having the solution discredited us, we'd all be worthless.

So perfect those two sentences. The last one made me feel better about myself.
