The Chinese are just like shop keepers, a shop keeper never rejects a customer. The US is a customer.

U.S. Rep. Buzz Killington to push tougher sentences for more-potent marijuana

U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk will call for legislation Monday that would toughen drug-trafficking laws regarding a highly potent form of marijuana, with penalties of up to 25 years in prison for a first-time offense.

The law would target offenders who sell or distribute marijuana that has a THC content exceeding 15 percent, which is between 5 and 10 percentage points higher than average marijuana, according to Kirk's office.

Thanks for posting this. It was the first notice I ever took of Kirk, and came to my attention only yesterday, so I am primed to view him as an idiot.

          Don't be naive.

Do you honestly think that macro-investors bow to national flags?

Really, wake up and smell the coffee, man

There's nothing special with UK, Spain, Portugal, France, Sweden, Rome, Ottoman empire, etc (you can continue the list).

All had their run, spent it and since then it's been payola time for them. It could be that the time's now up for the US.

BRIC now has the cash. They are the investors of the future.

Why is the macro picture so hard to get.

Of course US can throw a pissy fit and start threatening everybody with their big guns, if it really gets bad.

But even in that scenario, the macro money is going to play both sides till the winner is decided, and right now it sure does look like China.

Let go of your national pride and understand that the fairy tales about the inherent god-given superiority of the US were all that - bed time stories for children and the working masses. Just a historical period, that's all.

Money goes where it makes the most profit.

          End of story.

I missed it. If Metalman posted it, there is a strong possibility is was in poor taste.
