My wife cut our food budget by 2/3 by using coupons and taking advantage of deals. Incredible savings out there once you learn how it works. She'll routinely show up with $100 worth of groceries that costs us about $20. In some cases, she actually buys items that pay us! So we have hundreds of little first aid kits.

The second IBM Thinkpad (this one being a T60p UXGA) I bought through ebay USA for my gf arrived through customs this week. It's really frigging fantastic! For 350 euro inc. S&H! The screen is better than 2000 euro crap notebooks they sell nowadays.

It's beyond me why stuff like this isn't made any more. It's only cheap rubbish you can buy these days. I wouldn't touch a new notebook with a 10 feet pole when I get the chance to get one of these IPS panel thinkpads. Makes me feel sad And then there's people like my sister who think 2nd hand is a dirty word.

I'm on my third cordless phone system in 3 years. :mad: They are chock full of features you don't even want but they can't make them work longer than a year.
