    Have you guys caught the new commercials look. Siding with the suffering Jane and Joe Sixpacks. Breaking through the velvet rope curtain in a beer commercial. Tying Kevin Garnett's injury woes to a laid off white collar guy. Neither had experienced such pain. The first Depression seemed kinder and gentler in comparison. ;)

      I watched a commercial last night for one of the big life insurance companies. The blue collar breadwinner dad quiets the family around the table for a serious talk about belt tightening because there have been some layoffs at the company that he works for and he is probably next.

        I'm guessing he doesn't say, we've got to dump the life insurance...

          Oh, he does and they do. And then he is attacked by a swarm of bees...then he is hit by a car...and then he is suddenly engulfed by a blazing inferno. :eek:

            That's funny. Can't tell you how many of my friends/peers are underinsured for health/life and disability. If some of them get hurt, they're f'd because not only can they not produce income as the primary breadwinner, but their medical bills will crush the income they have.

              I cannot afford any form of insurance. I, however, am very cautious around bees, cars, and fires. :cool:
