  • Is Anyone Minding the Store at the Federal Reserve?

Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligation...

Yes, isn't it interesting how trillions could disappear into so few hands, so fast, for purposes all but unknown, with so few questions asked, and almost no-one held to account?

Yes, those at the top in failing organizations are entitled to salaries for services rendered, but salaries in the millions of dollars? Tens of millions of dollars?

This bunch in the economics departments of universities who pedal this garbage about Keynsian economics or Laffer's supply-side economics, they too should be held to account. Questions need to be asked about just how they keep their jobs?

Trillions gone with a weak recovery, or not even that, and with exploding inflation in food now appearing, at least here in Canada.... And the stinkers in power like Bernanke at the Fed and Carney at the Bank of Canada reply to the media that without these trillions in bail-outs and stimulus, the economic crash would have been deeper.... Unbelieveable!

And where is Alan Greenspan now? What has he to say about this Zimbabwe solution to his past mis-management at the Fed?

I love that guy. He has a brain, very unusual for a government official. And he is from my new home state of FL. Go baby!

Imagine a teenage brat who wrecks the family car and then says to you, "Don't blame me for the wrecked car; it was the snowstorm. If it wasn't for my driving abilities, the accident would have been worse. You can ride the bus while the car is being fixed."
