More insane? About a year ago I joked to a friend the Govt. will get so desperate they will offer a $25,000 tax deduction. Well an $8,000 credit is getting there.

Well this time the money is comming mostly in the form of equity sales. So people have a choice, to invest or not. This isn't the same as the huge taxpayer bailouts.
