NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The Federal Reserve said Wednesday that it believes the U.S. economy is getting worse, but the pace of decline has slowed and the outlook has improved.

I have just been informed that the Brain tumor threatening my very existance has slowed in its growth. The really good news was that they have found that it has spread to other parts of my body and the oncologist was happy because these cancer clusters do not represent a serious threat to life at this stage. His prognosis is that my terminal outlook has been delayed. Once they gave me a double hit of morphine I felt happy with this outcome............
