Why aren't you upset with cameraman or the producer for turning an interview into an opportunity to humiliate an woman that trusted her interviewers?

Or maybe because any politician above Dog Catcher pays attention to stuff like this and would be expected to manage it better even if she hadn't been warned?

Or, possibly, because this is just one more example of the existing narrative that she's completely clueless, and was promoted well above her capabilities at the possible expense of the country for McCain's potential gain?

I doubt she was informed of precisely what the backdrop would be. This video is an attempt at manipulation. You don't see or don't care because it confirms your own biases.

But it shouldn't be the job of the media to actively mix faces and political positions with emotional imagery. That's what propagandists do. And that's what bothers me most about this interview.

Well in London we voted in buffoon Boris Johnson as mayor.
He was voted in because:
1 - he was not the incumbent;
2 - he is worth his weight in comedy gold.

no, she knew exactly what the background was and specifically specifically asked for the interview to be conducted at that location. in her defense, that's how turkeys are killed and it's hypocritical of turkey consumers to be offended by the image. i like eating turkey, too. losers in the food chain. she grew up around it so to her it's no big deal to see them whacked and it isn't if you're not vegetarian

the point is: no friggin judgment. if she had any she'd insist on the interview far from the turkey slaughter.
