Holder? I don't like this one, two names come to mind. Elian Gonzalez and Marc Rich.

Clinton? I'm kind of surprised that she accepted. Does this not signal the end of her career as an elected politician?

Don't know much about Geithner, would anyone care to comment? Short version of his post collegiate biography is 'studies' ---> working for Kissinger ---> Treasury ---> NY Fed ---> and back to Treasury.

    Babbitt,

The emphasis is on the 'working for Kissinger' part.

Clinton II, or Carter III, depending on your point of view

yep, Clinton III. While it isn't the worse case scenario, it is pretty much what I thought would happen while watching the money stream in to his campaign.

        lots of connections

Is linked to Obama by: Robert E. Rubin and Lawrence H. Summers, two former Clinton treasury secretaries who have been advising the Obama campaign. Mr. Geithner was an aide to both men.
Paul Volcker, the former Fed chairman who is also advising Mr. Obama, was on the committee that selected Mr. Geithner for his current job.
