    We can only hope so.

Sounds more like an attack piece from the GOP than reporting.

I note zero mention of any Republicans receiving money from Fannie and Freddie - and given that McCain is one of the Keating 5 - that sounds impossible.

Gee golly, on FAUX News I heard Obama was Muslim, hates cats, kills puppies, is a terrorist and hates America.

The American Enterprise Institute is pretty much compromised when it comes to politics, doncha think?

              Re: Game over for Obama?

That was an opinion piece written by one of McCain's economic advisors.

Obama takes in several million dollara a month! Why would $125k mean anything? AEI is BS chop shop for the Republicans.

His career in the Senate started in 2006. If McCain can successfully stick this whole mess on Obama and change his image over the course of one week from the "straight-talk deregulation express" to that of "Mr. Populist hates Wall Street" than it is indeed a sad commentary on the brain power of the American electorate. And this is not an endorsement for Obama, it is purely an anti-endorsement of McCain / Gramm.

FWIW (probably not much), I've been on the record as predicting a win for Obama based on the election demographics since 2006 and the state of the economy and suspect that Obama will wipe up the floor with McCain during the debate on Friday night after which his poll numbers (back up to +5% after the events of last week) will only rise from there.

LOL. After 8 Years, NOW They Tell Us!

Hasn't anyone told these people that a new administration has only the first six months to complain about what problems they claim the prior administration left them with?

After that, they are responsible for the problem.

Game over for Obama? Not until election day. I expect Oama to win by a landslide.
