the margin is waaaay to close to say that for sure. america made a step nominate him but will not elect him... is not ready to elect him. but as i said he who wins this election loses. if obama will be fortunate to lose this and win the next one. the republicans should have to clean up their own mess for once.

If Obama can't win this one, he's going to get ritually disembowelled by the Demos.

There is NOTHING more optimal for him than the present situation:

1) Too new to have skeletons
2) Outgoing term limit President is the most hated head of US state since Nixon
3) Economy sucks
4) Geezer running against him is chip off the old block
5) Money running out of his ears

Even if McCain has a disastrous presidency, Obama's failing to win a 'sure thing' is going to doom him. He is not the type of operator that Nixon was to be able to run again - especially since the next time around Hilary will be saying: "I told you so"
