Also a post I made here linking to a blog post here which discussed that the currency exchange "friction" could eat up not only potential profits but also principle.

Plus they were pushing their Icelandic Krona CDs quite heavily before the crash. I don't think that those CDs have done very well.

Considered them about 4 years ago. Read quite a few blogs suggesting customer service was frustrating.
