      jk's avatar confused me into thinking he was still posting. Guess I should be more observant. And yeah, bunch of BS that he is gone. I hope his kids are well. I stopped coming around in mid-2009 and didn't really resume until this year, so I have been out of the loop.

              i would be if not for what i've learned around here.
              skeptical, cynical, disgusted from time to time (even all at same time, watching any given 'news' program or paper)

              and never mind watching the charade in charlotte....

              but merely for the reason that AT LEAST SOME OF US KNOW WHATS GOING ON, leads me to think that there is a way out and that we can prevail over the pessimism that the political aristocracy has created

                it'll get to crap for a bit but it'll work out...

                the guys who wrote our constitution were friggin brilliant... totally knew human nature... oh, how lucky we are!!!
