  • U.S. Currency, counterfeit problem or duplicitous experiment?

On an intercontinental flight someone told a very interesting story.

The rumor is, the person explained, that the US had run experiments with changing the currency to test how the domestic and international masses reacted to the changing designs.

    Why? Someone asked.

The person replied: “The present currency will become irredeemable due to exogenous pressures. There will be a transition phase where two different currencies will be used; the present bills outside the US will only be redeemable for US bonds. For domestic use new bills will be designed and placed in circulation.”

And I thought that the re-designs had something to do with Supernotes!

    So what is the truth?...

Great PDF, amazing the amount of Seigniorage the Federal Reserve is able to charge the rest of the world. 60% of all printed US currency is held in foreign hands, somewhere between $450 billion to $760 billion is what the US gets to use free of charge. This not counting the fact that the US has been able to almost triple the price of crude since the invasion of Iraq and our poppy fields in Afghanistan. Article/report states that the amount of counterfeit currency is somewhere between 25 cents to $2.50 for every $10K in circulation. According to this report the main sources of counterfeiting are our Narco D0llar allies in Columbia and Peru, not surprising. Third up is our supposed only allie in the middle east, Israel which is certainly not surprising. Followed by Bulgaria and our other allie in Asia North Korea.

Think of the debts that could be paid off if the $450 billion to $760 billion repatriated itself back to the US. By this summer South America no longer requires the d0llar for cross border trades and move to form their own currency shortly. South America if I remember correctly from the report holds 15% of all the foreign holdings of US printed d0llars. Ecuador uses the d0llar for their own domestic currency. Venezuela has been very busy buying up Argentina bonds for the last two years, so I would imagine there is plenty of domestic South American currency available to have an alternative from the d0llar. Moving forward what happens when South America no longer borrows in d0llars, almost everyone in South America has paid off their IMF and Paris Club debts with the rest expected to do so shortly.

The US Federal Imperial system gets very expensive to maintain if the rest of the world no longer pays more than their share. Springtime is coming pretty soon and it will be interesting to see just how much Russian crude exports out of the Gulf of Finland once the Gulf of Finland is no longer frozen over. Obviously this crude won't be selling in d0llars like the pipelines through Poland, Georgia and the Ukraine require. Looks like the Empire is losing it's abilities to tax the rest of the world through inflation. Should be an interesting summer, time to declare the troop surge a success and declare victory in Iraq as long as Iraqi oil continues to sell in d0llars not Euros.

I think the Central Banksters are losing their sway over the world, should be a very interesting year.
