Re: Catching a gold basher - Eric Janszen

Why bash the gold bugs, when they can be put to good use:

Lenin was before the time of goldbugs, if he was alive today might he not recommend putting the goldbugs into forced labor - ah, er, I of course meant re-education camps where they could train goldplating public urinals with their own gold? What's not to like, a nifty solution to the gold & goldbug problem.

3-D GOLDSTORE, HONG KONG RESTROOM, CHINA

The gold store owner in Hong Kong was inspired by Lenin's vision of building public restrooms made of gold. Everything in the restroom including the toilet, sink, tiles and doors are all made of solid gold.

Why do the media tags never work for me when I try to insert a clip?

Thank you for repeating this, as I have not heard it before.

I am currently holding shares in two short ETFs:

ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury (TBT) and

PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bearish (UDN)

The first being held in anticipation of rising interest rates and the second as a hedge against a falling dollar. Both are longer term plays, which goes against your recommendation to not hold short ETFs except for brief periods of time. Are there better ways to reach these objectives?

                Thanks.
