From Chris Martenson
The End of Money
It's time to face facts and act on them. Dangerous trends in the economy, energy, and the environment are converging on the United States and will create a "perfect storm" at some point in the next 5-15 years. Each of these alone could prove disruptive to our way of life, but together they portend both unprecedented crisis and significant opportunity.
Exponential change is coming to individuals, to communities, and to our nation. Our society is at a crossroad. People feel uneasy, and many suspect that we are "on the wrong track" in the United States---but they do not know why. Our problems are compounding, and may even seem overwhelming:
* Unfunded 'Baby Boom' retirement costs
* A bursting housing bubble
* Runaway national debt
* Extreme energy insecurity
* A national failure to save
* New costs due to climate change
