Why would I sell good dividend-producing oil and gas and nuclear energy producing stoxx to earn ZERO??????????????????????? Why? WHY!

I don't understand this kind of logic. I do NOT cater to zero or one percent or two percent nominal rates of return. SORRY!

So long as the Putz from Princeton is at the Fed, you can keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep your cash. Same comment with Mark Carney at the Bank of Canada.

One interesting thing that I see happening is that the bottom is falling out of choice real estate in California, especially choice real estate in rural areas. So this is beginning to look deflationary to me, but what do I know? Also, real estate is not quite so easy to rent as it was two years ago, because people are fleeeeeeeeeeeeing California due to its outrageous cost of living. ( One can thank the eco-frauds in the Sierra Club for that outrageous cost of living, i.e, in utility bills. )

The job market in California does not exist, aside from stoop-labour in the fields. Even cannery work is hard to find. It's a real sad story.

I wouldn't even want to be an independent trucker to-day, especially in California. I think those jobs are going back to railroad flat-beds (multi-modal rail). So times look very de-flationary, and shipping costs are being cut-to-the-bone through cut-throat competition in the market for goods. (This day of reckoning had to come.)

      Then I suggest you dont.

BUT if you own stocks, with a heavy margin demand, like most banks and hedges, selling pressure will force to rebalance your portfolio.

Selling forces funds to meet redemptions.

BUT if you do sell, bank capital profits, and buy back at lower levels, the same dividend stocks.

I AM JUST noting that stocks are at a critical juncture.

So far so good, early days.

Metalman, finster : I refer you to my posts on $USD rally. I feel soon gold may end its rally as the $USD tied countries members take profits...But I cant see GOLD $800 tho...
