iTulip member thisandthat.nowandth nailed NIA in a post made 04-05-10 12:37 AM, at CNBC:- Silver. I was starting just now to prepare my own reply, but I can not do as well as he did, a half year ago, so I will just quote his reply in full here.

I registered to receive free email newsletters from The National Inflation Association a couple of years ago. Sounded very official and all, you know kind of like The Federal Reserve System. When the gold/silver stock recs began pouring in, I became a tad uncomfortable. After 30mins worth of research I unsubscribed.

    Google search: Gerard Adams scam

    or

    Jonathan Lebed

    or

When I see NIA articles appear on reputable financial websites (it happens) my skin kinda crawls.

Re: The Day the Dollar DIED!

Gerard Adams is the current President of The National Inflation Association (NIA). From his own website http://www.gerardadams.com/:
Gerard Adam's track record is one of the best in the small cap market, having a record year in 2009. Mr. Adams has been bullish on commodities (Gold, Silver,& Agriculture) for many years, even while gold was still under $600 an ounce. In 2009, Mr. Adams enjoyed an average gain of 269% on 14 Gold Stocks he had picked earlier that year, while his Silver Stock Picks had an average gain of 260% that year. His Top Ten Agriculture Stock Picks had also gained an average of 206%. Mr. Adams has successfully chosen stocks in the past that have gained over 1,000% along with many more winners that can all be found on his website ...
...then he provides a link to his other main website, Wall Street Grand, where he recommends small cap stocks.

I don't think we should be offering NIA the time of day on iTulip.
